Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement for a 1989 Ford F-250 GVW of 6600 lbs

How do you choose the proper weight rating for the Timbren product? do you match as close to your vehicles GVW? or can you go higher to increase capacity? My 89 F250 has a 6600 gvw I use it to haul wood alot of times.I run load range E tires and the truck is equiped with the towing package from the factory. Except for the rear springs it is essentially the same as an 8600GVW truck. I just want to make sure Im getting the maximum out of the suspension enhancements. should I go with the 6000lb or the 8600lb enhancements?

You can install either the 6,000 lb system, # TFR250SDE, or the 8,600 lb system, # TFR350SDE, on your truck, but they will not increase the weight carrying capacity of your truck. You will still be limited to the weight capacity that Ford has set for your truck. These springs were designed to work with your factory suspension to help reduce sag and improve safety and handling when hauling heavy loads.
I would recommend installing the 6,000 lb springs because you are not gaining an advantage by installing the 8,600 lb springs. Going with the 6,000 lb springs will save you money and provide your trucks suspension will all of the support that it would need. Remember, these springs will not be supporting the entire weight of your truck, mainly just the weight of a load in your truck bed or on your trailer hitch.
These two systems were designed to work with the 4WD models only. If your truck is a 2WD model, then you will want to look at the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TFR150SDE, which is a 6,000 lb system. I have attached the installation instructions for each of these systems for you to check out.
