Question:
Thanks for being such a helpful website for us. I notice in reviews for the hitch on a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe that several people noted some parts were mismatched i.e. wrong nuts for a bolt. If upon receiving a hitch from eTrailer the various nuts and bolts should not fit, will you send replacements upon being notified of such? Also, a remark was made suggesting a video be made specifically pertaining to a bolt installation problem on the passenger side that doesnt go as planned. The location of the heat shield between the muffler and undercarriage poses installation problems. Is there a video addressing that?

Thank you for the kind words!
We stand behind the products we offer and will always go above and beyond to fix an issue should one arise like a nut or bolt being incorrect or missing. While this is not a common thing, mistakes do happen.
I was unable to find the review you referenced about the passenger side bolt near the heat shield being a problem, but since the mounting brackets are made of mild steel there is a possibility that they flex during shipping and if it is not corrected before installing can absolutely make for a less than enjoyable installation experience. Should you run into any issues I went ahead and included an article that goes over verifying that your trailer hitch receiver is not flexed, and how to correct it if it is. While we do not have a video dedicated to this particular bolt, you can see it being installed at the 12:25 minute mark of the included video of the # e98843.
With that said I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843 for your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe as it has the highest tongue weight rating of 750lbs which shows its strength, and will be able to support any load your vehicle is rated for. The matte black finish is great for hiding dirt and holds up extremely well meaning it will resist chips and scratches leaving it looking great for years to come.
When installing the # e98843 make sure you first read the included instructions, and take a look at our installation video. You will want to make sure to start all of the bolts before tightening any of them to ensure you are able to align all of the holes without issue.
If you are planning on towing with your Santa Fe you will also need trailer wiring # CU94FR, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included installation videos for all of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
