I have a roadmaster tow master 5000, what do I need to hook it to a 2000 jeep cherokee sport 4x4

I'm assuming you're speaking of a Roadmaster Stowmaster 5000 tow bar, is that correct?
If that's the case, you'll want to use the Roadmaster XL base plate, part # 1418-1 which fits Cherokee models that aren't equipped with a brush guard.
In addition to the tow bar and the base plate, you'll also need safety cables like # RM-643, a taillight wiring harness like # RM-15267 and a portable supplemental braking system like the Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400.
I've linked to an install video for the base plate as well as to a product description video featuring the braking system I recommended.
