Question:
Would this be a good choice for towing a Braxton Creek Bushwacker 17 fd tear trailer with a 2009 6 cylinder Ford Escape? The trailer has 280# hitch weight, 2240# dry weight, 1960# axle weight, and 3280# gross weight. If not this, what would you recommend? I prefer a hitch with sway control

Expert Reply:
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution part # FA94-00-0600 for round or part # FA92-00-0600 for trunnion would be perfect for a Braxton Creek Bushwacker 17FD. It is one of the best value systems on the market with integrated sway control. The round bar would work best on trucks and the trunnion bar would work best on SUV's since the trunnion offers better ground clearance than the round. The only thing that would be needed to complete this setup is the 2" Hitch Ball part # EQ91-00-6080.
