Question:

I need a Bull Ring set up for my 2012 Nissan Frontier but I do not know which, if any will fit. The openings on the bed rail are covered by a factory applied vinal covering. Can you help me please?

The Erickson Heavy-Duty Retractable Anchor, part # EM01003, should be able to install in the stake pockets of your 2012 Nissan Frontier.

Your Nissan Frontier might have the factory bed rail caps installed that would cover up the stake pockets on your truck bed. You will need to cut out the section of the bed rail that is located over the stake pocket to allow the Anchors to be installed on your truck bed. The anchors will drop into the stake pocket and the lower bracket will be tightened up against the underside of the bed rail. You will need to remove enough of the vinyl material to allow the anchor to tighten up against the bed rail.

Another type of tie-down anchors that you might look at is the Extang CargoCleats Truck Bed Tie-Down Anchors # EX1932. These anchors are designed to attach to the underside of the trucks bed rail. They do not install in the stake pockets so cutting the vinyl covering on your bed rails would not be required. I am including a video review of these tie-downs.
