Question:
Researching trailer hitch for a bike rack and having a hard time deciding. I have narrowed it down to the Curt C13410 or the Draw-tite 76227. I like that no drilling is needed to install either and that the gross trailer/tongue weight for both could accommodate Camper/tear at some point down the road. I’m looking at the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack – 2” Hitch. The Draw-Tite has more reviews but is it the better of the two and why? Which hitch, of the two, is recommended for this rack? Are there any accessories needed with the recommended hitch with this rack? Thank you

When it comes to capacity, installation procedure and appearance once installed you can pretty much toss a coin to choose between the Curt # C13410 or the Draw-Tite # 76227, they are that similar. This being said, I'd always choose the Curt because it's a US made hitch and by a slight margin, they do a better job on their powder coat than Draw-Tite does.
Either of the two hitches you mentioned would work perfectly with a Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack like part # NV22G.
To equip your Subaru Outback for towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing setup. For a wiring harness, use # 118467. For a ball mount, use # C45030 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball and a pin and clip # PC3.
I've linked to installation videos for the hitch and the wiring harness.
