Question:
Hello I have a 2010 outback 2.5 Im curious how far this hitch sticks out horizontally past the bumper, if at all Im also curious if this hitch fits up snug against the underside of the bumper. Im trying to minimize clearance loss. Thanks in advance!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13410 will fit up snug against the bumper of your 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon and if you reference the linked instructions you can see that you actually need to trim some of the bumper fascia. As for how far out past the bumper it sits, I'm not quite sure because we haven't installed it on a 2010 Outback Wagon yet (August 2019). I did go out to the warehouse though and found that from the back side of the mounting brackets to the outermost edge of the receiver was about 8-1/2". If you really wanted to see where the receiver sits you would have to remove your bumper and measure from where the hitch sits against the frame like the instructions calls out.
