For your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon the Draw Tite hitch part # 76227 is superior over all of the other hitches available. It has a 2 inch opening which is the most popular hitch size (more accessories are made to fit it), and has higher capacities at 4,000 lb trailer weight and 600 lb tongue weight. But what I really like about this hitch is the the fact that only the hitch tube hangs down and is visible. A lot of hitches have a large crosstube that hangs down but with this one you'll only see the hitch opening. I highly recommend this hitch.
