Someone today just told me that I should use a wireless brake control instead. Any thoughts on which I should order from you guys?

So far so good but you need one more thing in order to install the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV with Adapter # C51515 in your 2017 Audi Q5. Now that you have the 4-way # 119250KIT installed you will need to add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.
This is going to give you the 7-way connector, circuit breakers and rest of the hardware needed to complete your brake controller installation. I have added links to a pair of help articles for you on this kit which are detailed guides which will help you complete the installation.
