Switching between trailers with different plugs is easy with this smart adapter. It converts a standard 4-flat connection to a 7-blade setup, adding the extra circuits you need for electric brakes, auxiliary power, or backup lights without cutting or splicing wires. Just plug it in, and you’re ready for towing that needs more than basic lighting.
Keeping track of trailer power has never been simpler. The built-in Bluetooth links to your phone so you can see real-time information on battery status, voltage, or connection health. It takes out the guesswork and makes it easy to confirm the trailer is powered up and ready before hitting the road.

You don’t have to be an electrician to get this adapter working. The plug-and-lead setup means you connect your existing 4-flat harness on one side and the trailer’s 7-way plug on the other. No special tools or rewiring required—just a clean, solid hookup that works right away.
Whether you’re towing a camper, boat, or utility trailer, this adapter’s universal design makes it a go-to solution. It bridges different wiring standards without needing custom parts, so you can tow with confidence no matter what’s connected behind you.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Ark Smart Trailer Connector 4-way to 7-way Adapter with Bluetooth. Now let's say that you're packed up and you're ready to go and you plug in your trailer and nothing is happening. Your brake lights, your turn signals, they're all dead. Now you're probably on your back in the gravel, wiggling wires, wondering where the problem is, if it's in your truck or if it's on the trailer.
Well, this Ark Smart Connector is going to end that guessing game for you. This is going to check every circuit the moment you plug in and tells you what's wrong right from your phone. Once the trailer is connected, the unit's gonna automatically begin a 20-second light test. This is gonna give you time to walk to the back of your trailer and confirm everything is working, your brakes, indicators, reverse, and taillights. The night-light LED even kicks on with your vehicle's taillights, so if you're hooking up at dusk or in a campground, you're still gonna have a clear view of the connector.
The plug itself is sealed to protect from dust, water, and vibration. And it's going to mount easily with the included bracket that you see right here. And so this is going to work with vehicles with existing 4-way plugs. As you can see, this does include a 4-way to 7-way adapter plug, so you'll just plug this into your 4-way and then you'll wire up these other wires. You've got some butt connectors here included, along with instructions to guide you through the installation process.
And this is well-built, and feels like it's gonna hold up really well. I just wanted to show you the LED lights here that are going to light up. So that's a really, that's a really great feature as well. The internal electronics are resin encapsulated for protection against moisture, vibration, and corrosion. And just to give you an idea of the size of this unit, looking at the overall width, we we inchesre sitting right about 3 5/16 inches.
The overall length about almost five inches. And then the overall height about 3 1/4 inches. Now if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us, 'cause ultimately we wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
