Question:
Hello, I need to wire my 2017 Kia Sedona with a 7-way trailer connector for my pop-up that has electric brakes. I already have a brake controller that I’ll be using. What parts would I need to order and what instructions are available that would apply to this vehicle/work? Thank you,

In order to install a 7-way trailer connector on a 2017 Kia Sedona you will need to start with a 4-way and for this I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56332 which is plug-n-play. Then, you can add the 4 to 7-way adapter with the 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Adapter part # ETBC7 which also provides everything else you need to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160.
In regards to installation, you can follow the video I have attached for you on a similar Kia Sedona.
