I own a 2017 Kia Sedona. I will be towing 3,000 lbs. coast to coast in January. Will the # D52506 be the best option for me and will it install without modifications?

I do have an option for you but the Derale 25-Row High-Performance Stacked-Plate Cooler part # D52506 would be a bit overkill for your 2017 Kia Sedona nor do I think you would have the space to install this. Instead, I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13504 which will be plenty for your Sedona.
In regards to installation, aftermarket transmission coolers are not really what I would call plug and play so you will need to do a bit of alterations in order to make one work. I have attached a sample install video for you so you can get a better idea of what all is involved.
