Question:
You have a Curt and two Tekonsha harnesses for my 2020 Honda Odyssey. Which one do I need or which one would you say is the best?

Expert Reply:
As long as your 2020 Honda Odyssey doesn't fall into the extremely rare category of Odysseys that are missing terminals on fuse locations #10, #11 and #12 inside the fuse box, your best option is to go with the Tekonsha # 118781. Curt offers a similar option with the # C56382, but in our experience, the Tekonsha harnesses, and their converter boxes in particular, seem to do a better job and have proven to outlast the competition.
If you want to be extra sure, you can look behind the driver side rear access panel to locate the fuse box and check the fuse locations mentioned above to confirm they are pinned, but from what I gathered from our in house installers, we have yet to come across an Odyssey that didn't have them, so # 118781 should work great for you. Otherwise, if those fuse locations are not fully pinned, you'll need to use # 118753 and run a direct 12 volt hot lead to the vehicle's battery to power the converter.
