Question:
I already got a hitch put on but I was told I needed a brake controller. Which one do you recommend for a 2020 Honda Odyssey with no factory wiring? Thanks!

To install a brake controller, like the Curt Echo # C51180 on your 2020 Honda Odyssey, first, you need to install a 4-pole flat with a powered converter module to provide enough to power and to properly activate your trailer lights. I recommend the Tekonsha # 118781 because it includes the fuses needed to complete the install and it's also the most reliable.
Next, you can use our 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L to adapt the 4 pole harness previously installed and provide the extra connections needed to power your brake controller.
Once that's all installed, your Odyssey is ready to use any brake controller. Why do I recommend the Curt Echo? Because it's extremely user friendly and the best part about it is that there is no extra wiring involved. The Echo simply plugs in between your Honda's new 7-way and the trailer plug. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and let's you monitor and control all of your trailer braking activity through the Echo Smart Control app.
