Question:

I need a trailer hitch for my 2020 Toyota RAV 4, but I'd like something as easy to install as possible...what would you recommend?

The Curt Class III hitch, part # C13416 is the easiest to install hitch we offer for your RAV4. The majority of the hitch will be concealed behind the bumper, which many folks seem to prefer.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a couple of more items to complete your towing setup. For a trailer wiring harness, use # C56434. For a ball mount, go with # C45070 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.

The # 36675 Draw-Tite Class II hitch you'd looked at would also be pretty easy to install but I'd recommend going with the Class III as you'll have a much better selection of hitch mounted accessories that are compatible with the 2 inch receiver used by a Class III.
