What Hitch Won't Interfere with Liftgate Sensors on a 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Question:
I have a rav 4 2023 prime plug in hybrid . I am looking for hitch to fit. It looks like the e23zr might fit but it says it will interfere with the automatic door feature. Is this true and if so is there a hitch that will not interfere? thanks

Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR could potentially interfere with the liftgate sensors on your 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. This looks to be the case with all off the hitches save one; the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT97YR. This is because the Hidden Hitch crosstube sits behind the bumper as opposed to under it like all of the other options do.
The best advantage of the Hidden Hitch is that you can remove the receiver when you aren't using it to give your RAV4 a completely OEM look.
