Question:
I guess it will not work on the truck I have which is a Ford truck with an OEM hitch. It seemed to go on okay but a bit tight. I put my mobility scooter carrier in this morning and the device seems to be at an angle. Like it did not engage properly. I can use another type of tightener if so desired. I do like the tightenerr and cover, I think it will work on my other vehicle.

I can save you some measuring to determine if the Draw Tite hitch anti-rattle # 63080 would fit. The only brand hitches we can safely recommend this for are the Draw Tite brand hitches that have 2 inch openings. If that's what you have this will work for you but if you have something different and want to measure to see if it could possibly fit we can't really help with that.
If the shank of your carrier is hollow I'd recommend a hitch lock anti-rattle device part # 63232 which doubles as a hitch lock. Or if the shank is solid the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch part # RM-061 is your best option.
