This transition plate is super stout and incredibly well built, should last the lifetime of the trailer, that’s for sure. Installation was super easy, I just followed the video here on etrailer’s product page and used the instructions as needed for reference. I ended up not needing the middle plate for my smaller width trailer, which is nice because it saved on weight lifting the door, yet it would have been nice to have had an option to purchase a smaller kit for the parts I only needed at a discounted price. Overall I’m very pleased though.
Very well made. They do leave a gap on the 8.5 wide trailer. Functionally no issues. But looks it does look little odd.
Love it much better than the wood ramp on most trailers.

Works great. Traction sand paper was barely attached on delivery. Stuck it back down and it fell off in trailer. No big deal would still buy again
Works exactly as it is described. Easy to install and makes loading the trailer a breeze in comparison to not having it.
I think it’s a nice quality heavy duty transition plate. I went with it because I like that they made it out of steel & made it adjustable & powder coated & e-coated & added grip tape. It’s an extra nice touch. Makes my job easier rolling the pallet jack up & down the ramp. Easy to install as long as you’re not doing it outside in the 100+ heat in the Utah Desert.

Loving it. I did mess up the rubber on the top while having the mower deck to low on entering but the product is still going strong. Once the bottom wood flaptransition on my trailer goes bad I will be replacing with this one.
The entry pad falls off due to the adhesive on the back gives way. When I open my trailer door, I find the center piece on the floor of my trailer, so I pick it up and put it back where it belongs. No matter how much or many times I put it back it comes off. So now I fold up a couple of towels and put it between the pad and the trailer door so it doesn’t fall off. The only thing holding the sides are the center plate. Which if it wasn’t there, I’m sure it too would fall off. Other than that it works as it said it would.
FANTASTIC!!!!!! That’s really all that needs to be said about this transition plate, but that really wouldn’t be much of a review now would it. I just installed the transition plate on my trailer and the installation process is very simple and straightforward. The quality of this transition plate is top notch. In my opinion, this is the best option on the market for a transition plate of this quality! I only use my trailer to haul a John Deere riding mower and a motorcycle from time to time and this plate makes it so much easier to load and unload both of them. There was no flex in the plate at all loading either one of them. Just keep in mind that this is made of solid steel, so yes it is going to add a little bit of weight to the rear door of the trailer and it is noticeable when lowering and raising the door. Shipping was extremely fast. I was actually surprised how fast it was shipped. Great job etrailer!!!
I own a luxury mobile Teppanyaki private chef company we use custom NSF commercial wolf griddles for cooking. I’m talking about over 500 lbs of weight each grill. This trailer plate was one of the best purchases I’ve made for my trailer. Although is heavy in weight, it’s heavy duty and can handle the weight of our equipment. Install was very simple. I think it took me less than 60 minutes to install by myself. An experienced person would install under 30 minutes. A happy customer.

The only reason for 4 stars is I followed the instructions down to the letter, and by doing that, the transition plate flexes a little bit in the middle of the plate and gets hung up on the trailer door when trying to flip it back over to close the door, looks like I need to move the transition plate up about 1/2 inch to avoid hang ups with the plate. Plate seems to really well made.
Easy to install and very durable. We are a portable church based in south alabama and currently load and unload equipment every weekend. We have a 28ft and 26ft trailer and about to purchase a second one.
The ramp is built very well, super strong for rolling motorcycles / tool boxes or just about anything into the cargo trailer. the only issue I did not account for is the extra weight the door has now because of the ramp, it will require more strength to close the door. (FYI)
So if you want the best ramp for your trailer I highly recommend buying this product. Install is straight forward just line it up and screw it on to the trailer ramp and done.
This ramp came exactly as advertised. It arrived in 2 days, which I did not expect and only took 30 minutes to install. It is made of heavy duty steal that I drive my 26" floor scrubber over. It does not show any sign of struggling to handle the weight.
I will be buying more of these for my other work trailers.
Works perfectly and handles all the heavy stuff we wheel in and out of our trailer without any hickups or snags with smaller wheels or rough terrain.

Still holding up to everything we put them through. 700-1000 pound pieces of equipment on caster wheels and other various heavy equipment in and out of the trailer and the only problem I have is that I wish I had installed them slightly higher up on the door because I get a SLIGHT flex in the middle most section of the plate. But it has never bent or developed a divot or anything. We have a different brand on one of our other trailers that were supposed to be a very sturdy heavy resin or plastic of some sort. Able to support 1000 pounds and they are now bent and a bigger problem sometimes than if we had nothing. I need to get a set of these awesome metal ones for that other trailer. That set did not hold up at all. I’m grateful for this set. Has made loading and unloading a thousand times better!
Excellent material!! Handles my needs perfectly! I have gone over it with more weight and no problem. I would absolutely recommend it's purchase, matter of fact I may buy a second one for the inside lip of trailer as this one is at ramp doors edge to ground contact. No wood conversions compares to this, especially after a hard days work in the rain.

The product has held intact solidly! Its strength has held up since installation a year ago and withstood the repetitive loading of zero turns and other small machinery. Loading 61 bad boy is no problem with this plate extension. It has made the ramp door a little heavier, but its no problem for my usage and works perfectly.
Looks like a good product. Instruction's could be better show/state how far away from edge to mount ramp/brackets on the rear. Straight out of the box the tread tape is already peeling off and not sticking to the metal. I will see if I can get another type of sealant to work and hold it down. Would be better with raptor liner or something else vs the peeling tread tape. The rest of my trailer is Raptor lined so might do it on this ramp as well.
So far I like them a lot. I bought them for my event/ sales trailer for my business. I have run 1100lbs tool boxes and 800lbs tire machines across them and they are working well. Very happy so far.

Transition plate works great. Easy to size and install. It’s obviously a lot heavier than the stock plywood transition but that alright it’s solid. I’m happy with the purchase

So far so good. I installed this flap at the bottom of the ramp. We use this trailer for Commercial Moving services and rolling 4 wheel Dollie’s up and down the ramp is very easy with this flap. Took all of 10 minutes to install, definitely recommend.

Super easy installation, high quality tread and heavy duty plates. The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't lay flat over the transition. I put some plastic spacers under the hinges and drilled out holes for the nuts and hinge rivets to help alleviate this. Perhaps raising the tongue more would help also.

Still great! Its such an integral part of the trailer now I dont know what I would do without it. It would probably be a lot more noticeable if it wasnt working great. Zero complaints!
