How does the stand-off brace hold in place?

I attached a picture that shows how the Stand Off Brace part # SPN-416 attaches to both the ladder and the RV wall. Basically a single screw holds the ladder to it and then 4 screws hold it to the RV wall.

When the stand-off brace connects to the trailer with the screws, isn’t there some type of gasket or silicone material between the trailer wall and the brace? Thanks
