Help Finding Trailer Wiring Install Harness in 2018 Honda C-RV

Question:

I can not find the easy connector for the Curt T harness. Why does my CRV not have the connector behind the driverside cargo area panel. Is the only way to get trailer lights to splice wires. If so, what color wires on each side do I splice. I cannot believe there is 1. no connector in my CRV and 2. No other option.

Your 2018 Honda CR-V does have the connector needed to install the Curt trailer wiring harness part # C56370 but due to the location of where the harness is its most likely buried behind other harnesses in that area. You'll want to keep digging and you'll eventually find it. This is a pretty common issue for installs like this. You may have to pull the interior panel back even further to find it.
