Trailer wiring doesn’t have to mean chasing wires or hard-splicing connections. The Curt T-Connector plugs directly into the factory port, giving you a clean 4-way flat trailer connector without touching the vehicle’s original wiring. It’s a true plug-and-play setup that keeps things neat and avoids mistakes.
This harness uses a powered converter that draws power directly from the battery instead of back-feeding through the vehicle lights. That isolates the trailer load so your vehicle circuits stay safe from overloads or shorts. It’s a reliable setup for running trailer lights the right way.

2026 CRV Touring Hybrid. Just follow the video instructions and you will be fine. One note, The Honda plug is held in place with some brown heavy duty electrical tape. I thought it was in a plastic holder and I cold not get it out until I finally got a better look at it and realized it was tape and very difficult to cut. The dash fuse box is not the easiest to find. It is located on the far left side just inside the dash panel. Once you stand on your head and can see under the dash it is easy to locate Fuse #17, third row second fuse down.
Etrailer has a great staff, fair prices, and everything fits. I don’t look anywhere else.

It is incumbent upon the owner to make sure that the cutting and trimming isn’t going to interfere with the resident “going(s) on” of said vehicle.
E trailer never disappoints. Ever.
Fits as designed. Didn't require complete removal of rear panel to access and install. Routed through rear grommet vs running through weatherstrip. Remove the 4 push pins from the panel while working behind panel. Will avoid dislodging and dropping behind wheel well. Yep, had to fish one out to avoid rattle.
The wiring harness is well made and a good value. I bought this to accompany the Curt 13397 hitch (also from etrailer) for my 2025 Honda CR-V. The installation instructions are sufficient but the pictures are dark and hard to interpret. I checked the videos on your website but the most recent is for a 2024 model year hybrid and differs significantly from my car. There are also no videos available on the Curt website. I did some searching and located an excellent video from U-Haul which guided me through the process step by step.
Also, some videos and comments refer to installing a 20A fuse in the under-dash fuse block (also specified in the Honda owners manual) but a 15A is included in the kit and it functions ok.

I have not had a chance to put this product to full use, but so far, I'm giving it 5 stars.
Installation was as simple as, if not simpler than, what was described in the video. It took me longer to get the car cleaned out than it did to do the install. The package included the needed fuse for the location under the dashboard.
Perfect fit for 2024 Honda CR-V sport touring. Online video for installation made the installation easy. Works great. Accessing the fuse panel was more difficult than the video shows but doable.
The videos were spot on and made the installation a breeze. I did the hitch on the ground alone with a floor jack and jack stands in about 2.5 hours. About an hour for the wiring harness and testing with the trailer.
The Light Kit is an easy plug and use.
Your products and helpful technicians are great. The videos regarding my CR-V are
optimistic and in certain spotsincomplete. Access difficulty and moving / removal of interior panels was difficult-to
say the least. Hitch installation: removing the rubber hangers by the mufflers was
NOT easy-though ET technicians make it look easy. The wiring harness: on a difficultly scale of 1-10 is a 15. The hitch is about a 12. IF Honda made the pigtail
6 long, not 2, a LOT of the harness difficulty would have been negated. Getting that brown tape off the factory white plug was difficult and tiresome.
Instructions do not show the hybrid version. Taking off the interior floor and panels is much different with the hybrid. Plus the connector is in a different location on the hybrid.
GREAT FIT FOR THE 2026 HONDA CRV, IT IS NICE HAVING A PLUG AND PLAY SYSTEM, WHEN INSTALLING YOU FIRST WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIND THE PLUG, BE PATIENT IT IS TAPED UP AGAINST ONE OF THE WIRING HARNESSES.
I ordered a complete trailer hitch and wiring harness for both of my vehicles. No fault of etrailer but one hitch's packaging was damaged during delivery. After ascertaining the hitch wasn't damaged and all the pieces were there, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. I had it installed, and it looks great. The only thing since I went with the etrailer brand because it was made in America, I wish the hitch had bracket to hold the four flat wiring bracket already on the hitch so it could be the powder coat matte black finish too. It is not a big deal because I ended up getting a bracket from etrailer but it is a gloss black. The one thing I would do different was to install the hitch myself. I just didn't have the time, the space in my garage or any help to get the hitch on.
The harness is great, easy to install once you find where the factory hid the connector. That's on Honda, Curt includes everything you need including 2 fuses.
The wiring harness is well built and on the 2026 CRV was very easy to install. Just don't forget to put the fuse in up under the steering wheel shaft in the fuse box and the inline fuse in !

After a year of use pulling a small trailer and a bike hitch the Curt trailer hitch looks brand new and working as advertized. Funny you should send this follow-up earlier, this week I just recommended Etrailer and a Curt hitch to my grandson!
It's a relatively easy install. Plugs right into the existing Honda harness. Accessing the Honda connector can be challenging because of removing the necessary interior panels.
This is my second C56370. The first one worked for 2-1/2 years until it began to interfere with proper tail-light functioning on my 2020 CRV. I'm hoping this replacement will last longer.
Fairly easy to install, works great. Only difficulty was finding the connection in my car, the video provided by etrailer was for an older model and the connector location has since changed.
The Curt T-Connector I received the first time didn't work. I did troubleshooting for hours trying to figure out what the problem was. As soon as I hooked it up the trailer lights came on and stayed on no matter if the headlights, brake or blinkers were turned on. The car was not on and had no power to it at all. After trying to figure out the problem myself I called etrailer and Curt to see if they could tell me the problem. I explained what was happening with my connector, but they couldn't figure it out from the symptoms I told them about. I got some help from a relative that had a multi-meter. He was able to figure out that the converter box was bad. etrailer sent me a return mailing label and I returned the bad connector. I bought a new one from etrailer and tested it before I put all the panels back. It worked exactly as it should, but what a hassle this was. The few troubleshooting tips I found on the etrailer website didn't cover my problem at all.
Installation was very easy and I was able to "hide" the converter box behind the plastic interior panel with just the pigtail exposed.
The wiring harness was easy to install on my 2024 Honda CRV. The etrailer videos are fantastic and go into great detail on how to install the wire. I watched it a couple of times and I was able to go outside and easily hook up the wire and under an hour. It would’ve been quicker, except I have a bunch of tools in the back of my car that I had to take out.
The wiring harness is plug-in play. I was able to find the connector and plug it in and route the wires the way the video from etrailer showed. I highly recommend this easy to install wiring harness.

I've been using this on our 2018 Honda CRV for over a year and it still works perfectly every time I need to tow a trailer. Combined with the Curt LED 4-Way Flat Connector (Vehicle End) Tester, there are no surprises when hooking up lights to our vehicle.
Installation went well using the the YouTube or Curt videos. I definitely recommend this product.
Put the etrailer hitch (e98848) and the Curt T-Connector wiring harness (C56370) on my 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid, both worked fine. I'm using them to carry a Thule Epos bike carrier. Had the local Honda dealership install them.
The wiring kit works well. When we have our bikes on the back of our CRV, they block our car tail lights. We added a light kit to attach to our rack when traveling.
The instructions provided by E-trailer to install the wiring harness were easy to follow.
