Torque Specs for U-Bolts on 3,500 Pound Axles

Question:
U_ bolt plates bent 1/2 u_bolts by from e_trailer try to torque down 75 foot pounds but the u_bolt plates bent this is not normal for tandem axle trailer 3500 lbs what is torque specs for tandem axle u_bolts thanks

For 3,500 pound axle U-bolt kits like the Redline # APUBR-1 that use 1/2 inch hex nuts you will want to torque them down somewhere between 45 and 70 foot pounds.
