Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Salem Cruise Lite Travel Trailer and it hits the driveway every time we pull the trailer out or park it. Im looking at lifting the trailer a couple inches to get the clearance needed to get in and out of the driveway with no worries. I cant seem to be able to tell how much this kit alone will lift my trailer. Thank you for your time

Expert Reply:
The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit lifts your trailer approximately the same amount as your axle's diameter plus the height of the leaf spring pack.
Keep in mind that if you have a 2-3/8" round axle, which is typically found on 3,500 lbs axles you would need Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 while for a 3" round axle you would need Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00, though this size axle would not be the case for your travel trailer.
Since you likely have 2-3/8" axles, Kit # K71-384-00 will give you the couple inches you are looking for, just be sure to confirm you have that diameter axle.
I have added a link to a video review of this kit for you to take a look at.
