Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Lippert U-bolt and nut kit. Now, if you're replacing the hardware that holds your trailer axle to your suspension, this U-bolt kit is going to be a dependable choice for your 10,000 pound trailer axles. This kit is designed to securely clamp the axle to the suspension system, helping keep everything properly aligned and safely in place. So let me see if I can give you some measurements here, measuring inside to inside here on this U-bolt, as I hope you can see.

We're sitting right at four inches wide and then measuring to the inside here of the top of the U-bolt, about eight and three quarters inches tall or long. And this uses five-eighths of an inch by 11 threads. So it is important to verify those dimensions and that they match your existing suspension setup before picking this kit up. Now you're going to get these two heavy duty steel U-bolts and four matching nuts. And these U-bolts do feature fine threads, which are going to give you a stronger, more secure clamping force than coarse threads.

That's going to help the hardware stay tight under demanding towing conditions.
