Question:
Thanks for the info. I will also need to replace the U-Bolts. My measurements show 7" length x 3 & 1/8" inside to inside width. The diameter appears to be between 1/2" and 9/16". I'm not sure which. Could I go with 9/16" even if it's slightly larger than original? Need part number please.

Thank you for providing that information. Leaf springs like the ones you have now typically match the axle capacity on your trailer. Although adding leaf springs with a slightly higher capacity won't hurt, it also is not necessary. Based on the leaf springs and and other information I'm sure you have 3,500 lb axles. Your standard diameter for this capacity would be 2-3/8". In addition to the capacity you want the eye to eye length to match, so we are looking at 25-1/4" long leaf springs.
I have two different options I recommend as a replacement. The first is the # e57SR. These match your current length and are rated for a 4k axle. This would ensure you aren't going over capacity too much and maintain a smooth ride. If you would prefer more then the next best thing is the # e44SR. This leaf spring is designed for 5k axles so you may start to notice an impact on your ride quality. Nobody makes 4,400 lb axles anymore so there isn't a good in between option.
