I am not putting this on my 2011 ram ( this is my past truck ) . I am switching to my new used 2016 Ram 1500 with my brake control Tekonsha Prodigy P3 with the wire harness I used from my 2011 ram 3500 Will the wire hardness #3021 work for the 2016 Ram 1500 Did dose plug into the truck brake plug and the unit dose light up ? Thanks you

You'll need a new harness part # 3024-P to go along with the Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 as there was a big enough change in 2015 for the Rams that they had to come up with a new fit for it.
