Where Is Brake Controller Plug Located On 2015 Ram 1500

Question:
I have looked all over my 2015 Ram 1500 and cannot find a connector for a trailer brake controller. It is not as your picture shows. It has the Hemi engine and 8 speed transmission. Any ideas?

Expert Reply:
There are times when it is tough to locate the brake controller plug under the dash. On the 2015 Ram the factory plug is located between the brake pedal and the emergency brake pedal as shown in the attached photo. It is probably behind another harness and pushed up under the dash.

Check over on the right side of the dash over closer to the gas pedal. The ends are likely covered by foam to protect the contacts.
