Question:

I see a few different trailer wiring options for my 2018 Subaru Forester, is there a difference? Which should I get?

We have three trailer wiring options for your 2018 Subaru Forester. We have the Curt option # C56040, the T-One option (my favorite) # 118467, and the Hopkins # HM11143865.

The reason I favor and recommend the T-One kit part # 118467 is because the converter boxes on the T-One kits have been proven to us as being the most reliable. Trailer wiring shorts will easily damage the converter boxes of these kits which renders them totally inoperable but we have found that the T-One converter boxes are much harder to short out. Because of that I always recommend them over the Curt and Hopkins options whenever available.
