  • Availability of Coupler Lock With a 5/16 inch Pin Diameter
A pin with a 1/4 inch diameter, like part # e98886, is standard for coupler locks. Unfortunately there are none that are 1/16 of an inch larger in diameter. If instead you meant that you needed one with a span of 5/8 of an inch then you will want to go with the Master Lock Adjustable Trailer Coupler Lock # 2847DAT which has a 5/8 inch adjustment setting. If you meant that the pin diameter needed to be 5/8 inches then you are looking for part # e98880.

  • Can Brake and Tail Light L.E.D. Trailer Hitch Cover # FHG72VR be Used as Only Taillight
The Flint Hill Goods Square LED Brake Light Hitch Cover for 2" Hitches # FHG72VR is intended as a cosmetic accessory item. It is not DOT-approved as a brake/tail light for use on its own. All of your vehicle standard brake and tail lights must still be used along with this product. The light illuminates red when running lights are on and LED lights in the background brighten when the brake pedal is pressed. This hitch cover fits 2-inch hitch receivers and connects to your vehicle lighting...

  • Hitch Pin Weight Capacity and Sheer Strength
We aren't manufacturers of those parts, and we don't have the testing ability in house, so I reached out to a couple of our manufacturers to see what information they could provide to try and help. I reached out to my contact at Curt regarding the pin and clip # C21500 and he said they haven't ever needed to test the sheer strength of a pin because the hitches and ball mounts will fail before the pin does every single time. They are rated for 6 figures easily. He gave an example of a...

  • Can 2015 Lexus GX 460 Tow 6,500 lbs with Aftermarket Hitch?
We only have two aftermarket hitches confirmed to fit your 2015 Lexus GX 460 and both max out at 5,000 lbs towing capacity and are not rated for using weight distribution systems. There is not an option to get the 6,500 lb capacity of your the factory system. The hitch will be the limiting factory for your towing. If you want to add the 5,000 lb capacity, you can use the Curt # C13043 or Draw-Tite # 75685. These are very similar hitches that install in the exact same location. I recommend...

  • Parts Needed to Complete Towing Package on 2020 Land Rover Defender D110 with Factory Towing
Unfortunately we do not have towing components like a hitch or wiring that have been confirmed to fit on the 2020 Land Rover Defender yet, but if your vehicle came with the towing package included you should already have a hitch and wiring present though. If you actually just need a ball mount and hitch ball that fit into the receiver, then it looks like the D110 comes with a 2" receiver. For that I recommend starting with something like the Curt # C45230, which can be used for trailers...

  • Pin and Clip Recommendation for a Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18153
As long as you have a 2 inch hitch installed on your 2013 Toyota Sienna the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18153 would fit and work well for you. It does not come with a pin and clip but you have a couple options. For a standard pin and clip you would want part # PC3, for a locking one part # e98880, and finally for a locking anti-rattle one you would want the part # 63232.

  • Trailer Hitch, Ball Mount, Hitch Ball, and Hitch Lock Recommendations for a 2007 Mercedes ML350
Yes, the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 13342, is a confirmed for your 2007 Mercedes ML350 as long as it does not have the Air Ride Suspension. I have included a link to the instructions below. Hitches do not come with a ball mount. So you might also be interested in Ball Mount # C45010, and a ball. For hitch balls you can use, # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 63845 (2 inch diameter), or # 63853 (2-5/16 inch diameter) depending on your towing needs. I also recommend a Trailer...

  • Dimensions of the B&W Tow and Stow 3-Ball Mount
The B&W Tow and Stow ball mount # BWTS10049B will have some great features. You can stow the mounting platform that has the 3 hitch balls (1-7/8, 2, and 2-5/16 inch) underneath your vehicle. This is nice because you will eliminate the possibility of hitting your shins while working around your hitch. The adjustable height will allow you the ability to tow trailers of different heights. The maximum drop is 7-inches and maximum rise is 7-1/2 inches. They are adjusted in 1-inch increments. I...

  • Recommended Ball Mount for 2 Inch Ball with No Rise and No Drop
For a 2 inch hitch ball that has no rise and no drop, I recommend the Curt Solid 2-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2" and 2-5/16" Balls - 10K - Black # C45660. For your anti-rattle, I recommend the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches # RM-061 which will give you the anti-rattle and then # e98880 for a locking hitch pin. If you want a 3 ball option I recommend # C62KR.

  • Towing Utility Trailer With Bike Rack While Needing More Rise From Ball Mount
I think we have a solution for you here, but the two parts you mentioned are using an adapter and adapter together. What you can do instead is which is use a Gen-Y ball mount shanks with stacked receivers. This gives you the ability use both a ball mount and bike rack, stacked at different heights so they don't interfere with each other. I'm not sure how much more rise you need, so here are a couple options: - 7-1/2" Drop/Rise: Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-304 - 10"...

The vehicle side of the Lock N Roll Articulating Trailer Hitch # 336VS501 can be locked to the vehicle's 2-inch receiver hitch using any standard pin lock such as # e98880. The mating part that bolts or welds on to the trailer # 336TS508 will only couple to the Lock N Roll system. Unlike a traditional ball coupler, which is compatible with any hitch ball of a matching size, the trailer-side Lock 'N' Roll coupler can only connect to a vehicle-side Lock 'N' Roll hitch. • How To Measure For Hitch Receiver Lock Pin Span
The span you refer to on the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches # e98880 is the usable length of the pin. To properly measure for this, you can measure the outside walls of your hitch at the pin hole. If you measured, and got 2-5/8", you'd need a hitch pin with at least a span of 2-5/8" like # e98880,. Additionally, you'd need to measure the diameter of the pin hole, so you can choose the correct diameter pin as well. Usually class I and II hitches have a 1/2" diameter...

  • Locking Trailer Hitch Pin for Bike Rack on 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver
The Curt hitch you purchased is part # C13272 which is a 2 inch receiver so the pin hole is 5/8 inches. A good standard lock to fit is part # e98880. With that being said, a lot of bike racks have threaded hitch pins so you can't use just a standard locking pin. Their threads are usually specific to their own locks so you might need to purchase a specific lock for your specific bike rack. If you let me know which bike rack you have I can help you with a specific locking pin.
