Question:
Any suggestions on how you would fish the wires down thru the CRV to the hitch without going out the back tail gate. Thanks,

To route the Curt wiring connector # C56370 permanently to your trailer hitch you need to look for any grommets around where your spare tire is stored. I wasn't able to see any in the attached installation video on a 2018 Honda CR-V but if you remove the spare tire you may be able to locate one.
If you aren't able to find a grommet then you will need to cut through your vehicle body and install a grommet like part # A55GB. Whether you find a grommet or have to install one you simply need to route the Curt wiring through the grommet (you may need to cut the grommet) and then seal it up with something like the Loctite RTV 598 # LT37467.
Once you have the 4-Way Flat connector routed near your hitch receiver you can use mounting brackets # 18144 and # 18140 to keep from drilling into your vehicle fascia or trailer hitch (see attached video).
