Troubleshooting Curt Trailer Wiring Harness on 2022 Honda CR-V Not Working
Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/09/2024 >
Question:
Installed part C56370 in a 2022 CRV, trailer lights are not working. Fuse is good. Thoughts? Maybe a bad harness? Thank you!

Hey Robert, it could be a bad harness but most of the time when this happens the issue is just that the connectors for the harness are just not all the way plugged in or fully seated. If you pull the connectors apart and then replug them in firmly you should hopefully see it work again.
You can also take a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test the wires leading into the converter box for voltage. If voltage is there but not on output the problem is the converter box. If no voltage the issue is the connection to the vehicle or the fuse you mentioned checking.
