Question:
2023 Honda CRV hybrid sport 2wd- Is it possible to install wiring harness w/o having rooster tail come through the tailgate?

Expert Reply:
Yes, there is Steve! We had a customer run theirs through a rubber grommet in the wheel well. If you can't find an opening in yours there's typically a drain type plug that's sealed up underneath the spare tire. This will let you route the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56370 below your 2023 Honda CR-V. You'll just need to search around and see where the factory wiring goes but there's plenty of length in the harness.
I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
Here are some other parts you may need to tow a trailer with your 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid:
Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13397
Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
