Best Way to Control Sway on a 2018 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 24TX

I purchased a rear sway bar a couple of months ago from you for my 2018 Thor Gemini 24tx (MB Sprinter 3500). The bar has eliminated about 90% of the sway problem and I'm impressed with your recommendation. Thinking about installing a bar on the front. Would this eliminate the remainder of the sway? What would be the major benefits be of this install? If you could please recommend a bar for the front.

I do have options for you to help control sway on your 2018 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 24TX but they do not make a steering stabilizer for this chassis to my knowledge. Instead, I recommend adding a rear anti-sway bar like the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Vans part # RM-1209-131. The rear anti-sway bar is actually going to do more for you in regards to sway control compared to a steering stabilizer. The rear anti-sway bars are also typically the most beneficial enhancement that you can make to the suspension of a motorhome.

Thanks for responding and your advice is great. I will look int a stabilizer bar. Would the bar help for when the coach is in a campsite..that is the back and forth sway from walking. if not, what would you suggest?

In order to help with the side to side rocking you are experiencing while parked you are going to want to look into a set of stabilizer jacks like the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks part # LC285344 as the rear anti-sway bar will not do much for this. These jacks are fairly easy to install as they can either be bolted or welded to the frame of your motorhome. They offer a 10,000 lb support capacity and a 34-1/4" lift. I wanted to verify that the RoadMaster Rear Anti Sway Bar, Item # RM-1209-131, is the the correct application for a 2018 Thor Gemini 24TX RV (Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis before placing an order. In addition, the jacks that you suggested might not work since the RV frame is recessed somewhat where it's difficult to get to. I'm wondering if the jacks could be placed at the pinch weld on either side of the cab but not as a hard installation?

Yes, the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Vans part # RM-1209-131 is a confirmed fit for the 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 that your 2018 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 24TX is on. Please note that the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks part # LC285344 are not for lifting but rather supporting the RV. They need to be attached directly to the frame as the pinch welds would buckle under too much pressure.
