Question:

Hellwig vs. Roadmaster front sway bar. Any advantage to either front sway bar, Hellwig HE26GR or Roadmaster RM-1139-176 for a 2018 Ford E450 Class C motorhome. Do both give the same results in overall handling? Thanks

Hello Dave, thanks for reaching out. Both the Hellwig # HE26GR and the Roadmaster # RM-1139-176 are a fit for your 2018 Ford E450 Class C Motorhome. Both are a 1-3/8" diameter bar so you would see the same results as far as improved stability and handling.

One thing that sets the apart is the coating. The Roadmaster uses a basic black powder coating, while the Hellwig has a silver hammer-tone powder coat. The hammer-tone coating is better at resisting scuffs and scratches. It also helps any lubricant distribute more evenly across the bar so it will effectively allow it to last longer. It looks like the Hellwig is also a bit more affordable than the Roadmaster, so for those reasons the Hellwig # HE26GR is definitely what I recommend.
