Installation Of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75278 On 2006 Chevy Uplander With Load Compressor

Question:
Installing Trailer Hitch on Chevy Uplander. It looks like my hitch will be delivered tomorrow and I am trying to be proactive today by lubing the bolts and making sure the vehicle is prepped. My question is how do I mount the driver side since my vehicle has the air compressor? Does the whole compressor bracket have to be removed? If so, it looks like the one 15mm bolt and at least two smaller nuts on very rusted out studs Im guessing they are going to break off if I try to remove the nuts. I dont see this noted on the videos. Thanks

On your Chevy Uplander, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75278 will fit with your load leveling compressor. It will take some extra time to make sure that you have the proper fit, but the bracket will reinstall over the hitch receiver mounts. From your photos it appears you have already removed the only bolt that is required to be removed for installation. I've attached in the installation details for you.
