For your 2017 Kia Soul with manual transmission, I recommend you start with the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX2726. These need to be installed using a threadlocker like # LT37420.

For a tow bar, I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar - Motor Home Mount - 6,500 lbs # BX7380 which comes with the safety cables you need. I also recommend using the Blue Ox Base-Plate and Receiver Lock Kit - Qty 3 # BX88101 for securing your investment.

For your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will give you a nice 6-way connection on the front of your vehicle to give you the functions you need from your motorhome's 7-way. It uses your factory wiring to give you a clean look while protecting your system.

For your braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This system is one of the most reliable and easy to use systems on the market. It is our installation team's favorite. Adjustment is only needed at installation and then the unit becomes a plug and play system.
