Exhaust is Hitting the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2016 Hyundai Elantra

Question:
I had a Curt trailer hitch installed on my 2016 Hyundai Elantra. There is a constant clanging and rattling. The muffler is hitting the trailer hitch. I have been back to the installer 4 times and they have no idea what to do. Got any ideas that would help out this situation? Thanks -

If the exhaust is hitting your Curt trailer hitch receiver, like part # C11303, on your 2016 Hyundai Elantra, then there are a few things that you can do to help fix it.
You can either bend the hanger, reposition a bolt-on hanger, replace the rubber isolator on your exhaust, or you can take it in ti a muffler shop. Since this is a pretty easy fix, you will probably not want to take it in to a shop.
I have attached a help article that shows pictures and goes into a little more detail about these different steps.
