Ok, it arrived quickly, installed easily, and made me happy. That said it doesn't fit properly on my 2013 Hyundai elantra coupe. The clearance between the hitch and the cars muffler doesn't exist and the muffler bangs into the hitch and makes an awful racket. I will be removing it tomorrow and seeing what I can do to get this issue fixed.
Good quality and fit. This is a well-made hitch and comes with all the hardware needed for installation. etrailer handled the ordering, packaging and shipping very well. The installation video was also very helpful.
So far, the hitch works great. I've only had it on for a week, but it looks good. The video was a great help, very informative, with step-by-step instructions. It only took about 35 minutes to install. Mainly using it for bike carrier.
It was a great experience. I really needed the hitch I purchased fast. I was moving and uhaul didn't have one and said it was back ordered from their vendor. I am very happy with my Curt trailer hitch. I installed it in about 45 minutes. I highly recommend watching the Youtube video before attempting to install it.
Needed a hitch on my Elantra and this was just the ticket. Installation was a breeze with the included instructions and a peak at YouTube video.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was able to install the hitch with little assistance from my 13 year old daughter.

It was purchased to accommodate a bike carrier and other than when travelling overspeed bumps at the college dorm has performed as expected. The clearance is not the best in the small car BUT that is not the fault of Curt.
This trailer hitch was pretty easy to install. and has held up very well. I have used it to hold a bike rack.

My hitch is working like it should, we use it on the weekends to load our mountain bikes and go trail riding. It looks new still the paint on it is still bright and shining.
I ordered a hitch for a brand new Elantra, wanting it to haul our two bicycles behind a motorhome. The hitch arrived quickly and the only problem I had was following the directions... and it was entirely my fault. The hitch installed just like the instructions said, but I was trying to make it fit a hole that was already in the frame when the instructions said it might be necessary to drill a new hole. Once I figured that out, the hitch went on without a hitch (pun intended :-) I've ordered three hitches from etrailer, one for a Sonata, a Elantra and a Mazda CX-5. All were quality hitches that work perfectly.
Serves its intended purpose but on my 2014 Elantra the mounting bracket comes in contact with end of the muffler and makes a horrible noise in the car when at idle, accelerating, or when going over bumps. Short of making/paying for an exhaust/muffler modification I have tried various methods to reduce the noise with limited success.

Occasionally hitches will make contact with a vehicles exhaust system. There are a few ways to fix the rattling issues. Bending the exhaust hanger can allow you to raise or lower the exhaust. If the exhaust hanger is bolted to the vehicle then you can unbolt it and reposition it. Another option is replacing the rubber isolator to a shorter of longer isolator to lower or raise the exhaust. Product seems to be good so far. Getting it onto the car was another story. Brought it into the mechanic to install. Even though I bought the hitch specifically to fit my car, it had to be manipulated, bent and more to work around the exhaust pipe. Took 1 3/4 hours by someone who had a lift, all the tools, and mechanical knowledge.

I felt concerned that I would have problems with the hitch since getting it onto the car had been complicated with many machinations, but it has worked well and I have had no problems with it
Perfect hitch. Had to use the die grinder a little to open up one of the holes to make the bolt reach on the driver side but not a big deal. Also had to put a little padding between the muffler and the passenger side of the hitch because once the exhaust warms up and the pipe stretches the muffler makes contact with the hitch during acceleration and that noise travels loudly through the frame (since the hitch is bolted to that.) Once I got it installed and made the padding addition it is perfect and very happy with the product.

Works great! I installed it myself in about two hours or so with literally zero experience in doing such things. The instructional video detailed the process very well.
The hitch itself is great. It helped me successfully tow a small 4x6 trailer over 4,000 miles with my Hyundai Elantra.
The hitch fit pretty good. The installation was fairly easy. The installation video with it was really good. The hitch was really build well. The only issue I had was I had the grind off some of the bracket next to the exhaust because it was vibrating pretty bad.
This Curt tow hitch is very well made. Even for the price you are getting a quality hitch. It arrived well packaged and on time. I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra sedan and installation was a breeze (that is if you know what you are doing and have the nessesary tools to do the job) The hitch only has 3 huge bolts,nuts and plates to secure it in place and thats it! On my car though you have to take off and cut a portion of the plastic dust cover on the drivers side to access the rear frame where the bolt and nut is attached. On the passenger side you have to loosen the muffler rubber hangers, take off and cut a portion of the heat shield to access the hole where the bolt and nut goes. All in all it took me about a little over an hour to compete the installation. What I also liked about this hitch is its perfectly placed on my car. Its not sticking out too far. Just perfect! I highly recommend etrailer from now on. Great customer service! Fast free shipping! Now I am waiting for my Swagman G10 hitch bike rack that I also purchased from etrailer!
Hyundai Elantra Coupe - The center attachment did not fit perfectly. I had to put about 1/2" spacers there to attached the center. Had to purchase a longer bolt. But it is very solid now. Otherwise fairly easy to install by myself.
I bought this light duty hitch reciever to install a bike rack on my Hyundai Elantra. The fitment was perfect and the install was pretty straight forward.
Etrailer shipped promptly and followed up with a confirmation email. I am completely satisfied with this receiver and would recomend to anyone

I ordered this trailer hitch for my 2016 Elantra on Thursday and received it on Monday. This is fast service. I brought it to Midas and was installed on the 7th day after I ordered it. I also ordered the trailer harness. Everything works great. See my picture.
