Yes. The TorkLift SuperHitch is the only brand that accepts the custom fram mounted camper tie downs. For your 1997 Ford F-250, the hitch receiver you would need is the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers # TLF1000. You would not need to modify your exhaust or move your spare, you would only need to temporarily move for installation. The only 21 inch extension that will not reduce a hitch capacity by 50% is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers - 21" Long # TLE1521. This is because it uses the second receiver tube for support as well as chains.
The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLR3503 along with the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLF2000 would ready your truck to haul a camper.
If you only want a hitch without the camper tie downs, you can use the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" # BWHDRH25122 along with the Tow Ready Hitch Extender For 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver 18" # HE18 and will be within your weight rating.
