Can I Drill Holes to Install a Hitch on my 2016 Ford C-Max Easily at Home

Question:
I am looking at trailer hitches for my 2016 Ford C-MAX Energi. For both hitches you sell, drilling is required and reviews say it can be difficult. Do you recommend installers?

Drilling holes into your vehicle frame to install a trailer hitch is not uncommon at all. As long as you have the proper tools installing the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C12092, on your 2016 Ford C-Max is a fairly easy install that is estimated at about an hour to complete. You can install it on your own, but it is much easier to have an extra set of hands to help out.
I have attached a video of this hitch being installed on a 2015 Ford C-Max for you to view, plus a link to our ball mount and hitch ball selections if you will be doing some towing, and a link to our bike rack selection if you will be using the hitch to haul any bikes. If you let me know what you will be using your hitch for I can make some recommendations for you as well.
I have also attached some links to some helpful articles about towing for you.
