To install a replacement rear wheel tray for Thule T2 Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks you can use the Replacement Fat Tire Rear Wheel Holder and Strap for Thule T2 Classic Platform Bike Racks # 7521568001. To install, you will simply need to pry off the end cap and then use a pair of needle nose pliers to grab and hold the nylon lock nut that is in the tube of the rack. This will allow you to use a screwdriver to remove the screw.
To install the replacement, you will just reverse this process.

The screw on the bike rack holding the wheel holder is stripped or just turns. Do your think the nylon nut is stripped and should I still pry off the end cap and get a new nylon nut? Thank you.
