Question:
I am looking to add electric drum brakes to a popup I just purchased since I will be towing it with a Subaru Forester. The previous owner had a Dexter axle w/ EZ Lube and the over under kit. He also upgraded to 10inch wheels. I havent been able to pull the tire off and measure the spindle but I took some measurements and found a sticker with the part number for the axle. I am wondering which brakes will fit? It looks like I only have two options based on the tire size but I want to make sure the brakes will fit on the mounting flange it doesnt look like the standard square one but the hole spacing seems about the same and over the spindle. The sticker says it is a 3,500lb axle and the part number on the axle is 404712 T35B UL FL 63.25/0/55.625 BM FC. I have attached a picture of the mounting flange and the sticker. Thanks.

Since we know it is a 3,500 lb Dexter axle I can tell you exactly which hub/drums and assemblies would fit it. That being said you will have to upgrade your wheels to a larger size as the hubs that fit your spindle are 10 inch in diameter and would require you to go with a 14 inch diameter wheel. Since your trailer was already lifted with an Over Under kit you SHOULD have the fender clearance for this. But you would need to verify.
For a hub to fit you would want the part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K which is a EZ lube hub/drum with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. For brake assemblies you would want the part # AKEBRK-35R-SA for the right hand side and part # AKEBRK-35L-SA for the left hand side.
For a wheel and tire to fit that hub you would want the part # AM10235 for the tire, which has an overall diameter of 26.3 inches. Then you need a wheel, # AM32161. These are not mounted so you will need to get them mounted at a local shop.
