Question:
Hi, I just bought a 2015 Ford Focus SE Hatchback and I have a Falcon 5250 tow bar. The tow bar slides into the Motorhome receiver non ball type. Is this the base plate I need? What is the difference between this and the EZ5 base plate? What harness should I use to hookup the lights vehicle side? I have a 4 pin round connecter on the Motorhome side. Thanks for the help.

Good news, I can help you pick out the right base plate kit for your 2015 Ford Focus.
Staying in the Roadmaster family since you have a Falcon # RM-520, the Roadmaster # RM-524443-5 and the Roadmaster # RM-524443-4 are both great fits for your 2015 Ford Focus SE Hatchback. Both will be compatible with your tow bar, just depends on how you would like the front of the vehicle to look after the install.
The difference of the EZ4 and EZ5 is the mounting arms. The EZ5 has the arms that will not need the base plate adapter arm, it will mount directly onto your Falcon tow bar. The EZ4 arm will use the quick disconnect brackets on the base plate adapter arm to mount to your Falcon tow bar # RM-520. I would recommend the EZ5 # RM-524443-5 because it will be much easier to use without the quick disconnect assembly.
The harness I recommend for you would be the Hopkins # HM56008, because of its easy installation. The 4way flat end this harness provides will simply be able to just snip off and easily wire up your 4way round connector into the corresponding spots. The Hopkins # HM47046, provides you with the 4 pin connector as well and the wiring umbilical to span the distance from Motorhome to the Ford Focus, it also includes mounting brackets.
To round out your flat towing setup you will need the following:
Safety Cables, like # RM-643
A Braking System, like # SM99251
A High/Low Adapter, like # RM-072-2
I have included a few videos of the trailer wiring being installed and a Help Article on flat towing for your convenience.
