Question:
I have a 2009 Toyota Camry, is there a hitch available with a 2 receiver opening?

Expert Reply:
On the 2009 Toyota Camry, all of the hitches available are Class II 1-1/4 inch hitch openings. The hitches will have a 3,500 lb. Gross Towing Weight and a 300 lb. or 350 lb. Tongue Weight.
There is not a 2 inch hitch available for your vehicle, because a 2 inch hitch has to be rated as a Class III and a Class IV hitch. That means that the vehicle would have to be able to tow weights ranging from 3,500 lbs. to 12,000 lbs. The frame on your Toyota Camry would not be able to handle towing those weights, so they will not make a 2 inch hitch for your vehicle.
The Curt Trailer Hitch, # 12343, will fit 2009 Toyota Camry All models, including the Hybrid. The ball mount, pin and clip are included.
If you will be towing with the hitch the hitch ball you will need is either the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, # 19258, or the Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, # 19256. The wiring harness you would use is the Tow ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118405.
I am sending links to the instructions for the hitch and the wiring harness. Also a video link to the Curt Hitch being installed on a 2009 Toyota Camry.
