Super easy, quick installation.
The wiring harness is easy to install, but it has a ground wire that the instructions don't mention at all that you have to connect to whatever ground you can find. I'll probably wind up extending the wire and running it to one of the cargo-latch holding bolts, it seems to be the best ground in the tail-light area that is easy to get to.
Everything worked as described, the installation was easy, the instructions were easy to follow as well.
Wiring harness arrived quickly and was easy to install. Would gladly order again from etrailer.
Plug and play into the existing wiring harness, the only other thing you have to do is sand away the paint and use a screw for the ground wire.
Continues to work as intended after a year. It looks much cleaner and is much more reliable than an universal module. In my case, all connections are kept inside the car when not in use so the 4 pin connector doesn't rot like they often do in the winter here in Canada. the only thing that didn't hold is the double face tape to stick the module somewhere.
Great and easy. Looked at the sheet enclosed in packing.... Well packed...box in a box....another similar instructions inside product packing... Too easy, unsnap the lighting connector on each side, make sure to follow convention for druveraide, plug in harness...plug orig connector into harness....too easy.

This Wiring Harness was used to replace another brand that had failed, and it only took 15 minutes to install it . It is a very clean and almost invisible Wiring Harness.

This kit was easy to install on my 2005 Toyota Matrix- worked perfect.
It was the easiest way to wire for a trailer. No soldering cutting etc. It was perfect. Unplug the car's wiring harness and plug in the T-connector adapting harness. So easy. When I sell the car and get another Matrix I will be able to unplug it and use it again if it fits another year.
I would recommend this to anyone.

The Curt C55522 trailer wiring harness you purchased is a fit for the 2000-2002 Toyota Echo and the 2003-2008 Toyota Matrix, as long as your next vehicle is among those models and of those model years, the wiring harness would work fine on the next vehicle.
Fit perfectly and installation went smoothly. Recommend this product for others.
