Question:
I would like to tow my 2002 Jeep Wrangled TJ with stock suspension and U channel bumper behind a 1995 F-250. Will tow only occasionally. What tow bar kit would you recommend for very occasional use? Thanks

To flat tow your 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ, I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 1420-1. The arms of this kit can be removed when you are not towing your Jeep to maintain the look of the Jeep.
For a tow bar that is compatible with these base plates, I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar # RM-520. This tow bar features a quick-disconnect system to allow you to quick and easily mount and remove the tow bar. The telescoping arms help make hook up easier and will automatically center and lock as you drive. I have attached a review video of this tow bar on a 1998 Jeep Wrangler for you.
You will also need the Roadmaster 68 Inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 to tow your Wrangler. Safety Cables are required by law when flat towing a vehicle.
For a supplemental braking system, I recommend theRoadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400. This supplemental braking system will easily install and uninstall from your Wrangler when you want to flat tow. It's portable so it's easy to install and remove from the TJ.
To ensure your Wrangler provides taillight, brake, and turn signals while towing, I recommend the Optronics Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights - 20 Foot Wiring Harness with 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # TL21RK. These lights will attach magnetically to your Wrangler, and the connector can be ran under the vehicle and connected to a 4-way flat connector on the tow vehicle. I have attached a review video of these lights for you.
