Question:
Will part number 11128 trailer hitch fit a Suzuki sport sidekick 4 door ?
asked by: Ray S
Expert Reply:
For the 1998 Suzuki Sidekick Sport Model, the Curt Class I, part # C11024 is a confirmed fit.
According to Curt, their # 11128 Class I hitch is NOT a fit for a Sport model Sidekick.
If you'll be using the hitch for light-duty towing, consult the owner's manual to ensure you don't exceed the towing capabilities of the vehicle. The hitch has a 200 lb tongue weight/2000 lb towing capacity, which will be limited by the towing capacity of the vehicle if it's less than that of the hitch.
You might also need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness with 4-pole trailer connector, part # HM41245
Ball mount, part # 3593
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19256 -or-
2 inch trailer ball, part # 19258
