I had to replace the lights on my utility trailer. The Kit came complete with easy to follow directions. Everything matched up perfectly almost plug and play. It took about 3 hours to remove the old lights and install the new ones. The only extra thing I had to purchase was extra white ground wire. The length that came with the kit was a little short. All other wire was more than ample length. That is why it got 4 stars other than that minor thing it would have gotten 5 stars. I am not a big user but the people at e-trailer are professionals with great follow up. This is the 2nd time that I used them and I do not hesitate to recommend the company and people.
Works for now... Disappointed each fixture didn't have a ground wire... Probably will have problems in the near future, especially as a boat trailer they will be getting submerged often...
Great kit. Everything you need to update your trailer. Great price that's lower than my local box stores.
This is an excellent product and simple to install. As long as you have a functioning plug-in on your vehicle you’ll be happy.

I’ve since pulled my boat to the lake with the trailer that I installed this lighting harness on. I unplug the lights before I back down the boat ramp to assure I don’t short out the system. Other than that I am still satisfied and would recommend these to anyone. Simple to install
The lighting system performed well in traveling from NY to northern Michigan and return to carry an old boat back for restoration.

Would be nice to have a ground wire coming from the tail light. Had to buy more wire and ground it to the frame for the lights to work correctly.
Exactly what I needed,after a minor collision wrecked my original lights.

These lights are marketed as submersible, but based on what's in the package I'm really dubious.
The lens bodies are not sealed. As you can see My photo, each lens body has a clearance hole for the wire - No gasket, and plenty of room around the wire, So water will definitely flood in and submerge the contacts and bulb/socket If you put these on a boat trailer.
Additionally, to Make the wire connections. They give you wire nuts. For submersible wire connections, at the very least, you should use crimp butts wrapped in tape - or better yet a heat shrink crimp butt. But they give you wire nuts, which aren't even really stable against vibration, let alone moisture.
It does say 3-year warranty on the package, however, so I guess I'll be testing that out.
Rewired my 8x4 bed trailer, and chose these fo mo betta rain proof. EZ wiring, they're working fine!

Ok, had an issue with the bulb socket for brake and turn signal. Those socket designs date back to the stone age. Hard to set the bulb for proper electrical contact. Badly needs an updated design.
I am disappointed with the design and parts that come with it. The lights are submersible, yet the wires aren't hard wired directly into the lights. They require connecting wires together. Worse, the kit comes with wing wire nuts to do so, not heat crimp waterproof connectors. So now there's two additional points in my trailers wiring that can separate. Poor design. Should have come with proper connectors or been hard wired directly to the lights so no connection is needed. Lights seem to otherwise be decent quality.

its still working great
They work fine but I’m not sure about the submersible part, which is one of the reasons I bought it, that and the price. It uses regular incandescent bulbs and the housing has open holes where the wires run. So I’m thinking either the hot bulb glass will break on contact with water or eventually corrosion will eat away the contact points. Again this was cheap so not a huge deal and I might be wrong about the bulbs breaking.

The holes are intended to allow water to drain out of the lamp housing. I used this same setup on my SeaDoo trailer for years, and never had a bit of trouble with them.
Put these on an old boat trailer. Came out great. I got some white 16 gage stranded wire to carry the ground out to each mounting place. Helps the lights stay on even when stuff gets rusty.
