This hitch is built for the smaller tasks that make everyday hauling easier. With a Class I rating, it handles up to 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight. It’s a reliable setup for pulling a small trailer or lightweight hauler without overdoing it. The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening fits common Class I accessories, so you can hook up the right ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier for the job.
You don’t need a shop lift or special tools to get this hitch fitted. It uses a bolt-on design with no welding required, and all the necessary hardware comes in the box. The precision, robotic-welded construction means everything lines up where it should, which helps cut down on install time and keeps things stress-free when you’re working in your driveway.
The hitch is made from fully welded steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer. That extra coating fights off rust and road grime to keep it looking sharp after years of use. The round-tube design adds a clean, finished appearance under the bumper instead of an industrial look that sticks out.
Pair it with a ball mount like part?# C45521 and your choice of hitch ball—part?# 19256 for 1-7/8" or?# 19258 for 2"—and you’ve got everything you need to tow light loads safely. Whether you’re moving small gear on weekends or adding extra cargo space for trips, this hitch gives your vehicle the flexibility to handle those everyday tasks without compromise.

This hitch is working perfectly after a year. It is on a car that is only used sparingly, and kept in a garage, and shows very little wear or corrosion.

One year later and the hitch is still holding up great. Have been to Big Bend NP back country and several trails around home with a hitch carrier hanging off the back.

I checked with all the aftermarket manufactures that we offer and there are only hardwire options for the 1995 Geo Tracker.

This hitch has been problem free. I have towed a utility trailer with it around town to retrieve building supplies and other purchases.

Delmar, this is a confirmed fit for a 1990 Geo Tracker. Could it be flexed or something? Also we have a 6 month return policy. Call customer service with your order number and they can walk you through the process.

It sounds like your hitch receiver was flexed. This is a common issue that can be handled with a table vice or a pry bar. Here are tips for fixing this in the attached help article:
