can etrack be mounted to a side wall with wood screws and hold the weight of a spare tire and wheel safely ? so as not to come loose and damage a show car..like up in the vnose of the trailer 1 spare only.. Thanks

You can mount the E-Track Trailer Cargo Control, # EM59150, using wood screws if the mounting surface is wood. If it is sheet metal, I would use sheet metal screws. Basically, match the screw with the material you are mounting to. There is no recommended way of installing the E-Track as installation is the responsibility of each individual installer. The more points you can contact the trailer frame, the more secure the spare tire will be.
You might also want to consider using a backing plate, or use large washers, if you intend to mount the E-Track in an area where no wall framing is available.
As a possible alternative, you might also be interested in the Spare Tire Rack for Enclosed Trailers, # RA-16. This rack has a hook at the top that you can hang from the top of the plywood panel sides in the trailer. It also has holes for mounting to the trailer wall. I have included a link to some of the specs of this rack below.
